JEREMIAH R. SMITH

I am a television producer and editor specializing in the reality/documentary genre and Avid Media Composer. I have been working in Television for 13 years. After graduating from UCLA, I began my career in the mailroom at United Talent Agency. I worked 2 years as an agent's assistant then another year assisting executives at ABC Studios. I was then hired as a development executive at LMNO Productions where I stayed for 3 years before finding my way into my true passion: telling stories for television as a producer and editor.

As a producer I'm equally adept at running a crew in the field and artfully managing difficult talent as I am hammering story out in post and overseeing episodes from string out to locked cut.

As an editor I bring my years of experience of producing into the bay. I dig story out of mundane footage, craft strong bites, and take notes from producers and network executives with a smile.

I can also shoot video, setup scene and interview lighting, and know the basics about audio mixing and mic'ing. I often work as a one man band to shoot, produce, and edit content. I'm a soup to nuts solution. 

I work hard while also having fun. I love the Reality genre and people in general. In addition to standard show content, I bring my same eye and enthusiasm to promos, teases, digital content, snap ins, casting videos, and sizzle reels. Let's make some TV together!
